Up for auction is a recently restored Indy 500 Pace Car Camaro Z28. We are a car dealership ( AutoDrive Inc. ) in Fort Dodge Iowa. This unit was sold to a Non Paying Bidder (Why do people do this???) and now is back up for auction over a month later. I need some space in the shop!!! I am serious about selling this car! The reserve is low, and the condition of the car is NICE!! Bid to own or call and make offer. This car needs to find a new HOME!!! This 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Indianapolis 500 Pace Car is in great condition and it runs & drives great! The interior and exterior have been restored. It has new paint, stickers, and interior. The interior is silver & blue and has an aftermarket CD player, power windows & locks, cruise, rear defrost, T tops, and more! These cars were featured in the 66th Indianapolis 500 on May 30th, 1982. This car has a (NOT ORIGINAL) 383 stroker motor, 350 4 bolt block with ARP rod bolts, competition cam, competition roller rockers, ACL main bearing, ACL rod bearings, stainless steel valves, Z28 valve springs, and more. The motor, transmission, and restoration have about 500 miles on them. We have the receipts for the motor and transmission, and all the specific information. Please call and we can email or fax the build/spec. sheet. The car has been driven less than 500 miles since the restoration process. The tires are probably 80 % tread or better, and they are mounted on the factory alloy wheels with the red pinstipe on the lip. The car does not have air conditioning installed currently. The drivers side window works only sometimes. We don't know if it is a switch, or the power window motor is going out???? We have a website that we are not allowed to link to our ebay ad.
