This car was fun to drive and gets great mileage.I purchased it for my son while he was in college.It had a salvage title and the seller claimed he had fixed it up. That proved not to be true and I spent much money fixing things to make it safe and reliable - including 2 rims and much front-end work.While at college, someone backed into the driver's door and put a big dent in it. Amazingly, the window was not broken and works and the door opens and closes properly. Fast forward several years, my son finally graduated from college (Yea!) and borrowed wife's old car (a Camry) to move stuff, carry people and stuff for his job (Yea!), etc. so he loaned the car to a very good friend of his. Friend did not take good care of car and ran it out of oil; he also does not have money to pay to fix it. Car is being sold AS-IS. Engine is bad and needs to be replaced. It was run low on oil and has developed loud knocks and will fail soon (per mechanic). Driver's side door has a big dent. Front hood at right front has a small dent. Convertible top has a small patch behind driver's door, outer layer is coming detached from the rear glass, and my have leaks elsewhere. Plastic bumpers may have scrapes, tears, or other damage. Body may have a few other small dings scattered about. Car has a Texas Salvage Title so there may be other defects of which I am not aware. Vehicle may be seen by appointment in Austin, Texas.
