Vehicle Detail
Merry Christmas everyone!!!! Buy yourself the gift you really want! A vintage Triumph!!! Just finished this stock light/moderate restoration on a matching numbers 1967 Triumph TR6R 650 Trophy.. We did this up to look like the TR6C model basically because its a better looking bike.. Not a nut and bolt resto here, just a very nice example of a reliable running bike with many many new parts.. Engine has been completely rebuilt with new main bearings (2 ball bearings in this engine), rod bearings, clean sludge tube, 20 over Hepolite pistons with hastings rings, new primary chain, 20 tooth front sprocket, clutch plates, trans bearings.. all new seals and gaskets through out, new oil pump as well... New kicker and shifter levers and primary cover and cheesehead screws.. Front forks are 69-70 type upgraded and have been rebuilt with new fork ears, boots, stainless seal holders, bushing and springs.. new front ss spoke set laced to a Jones front rim, new trim cover for the hub, new sealed bearings front and rear, new Dunlops front and rear.. The rear rim is the original Dunlop.. New stainless steel fenders were mounted, tank is a brand new repop painted with correct colors, new shocks, brake shoes, handlebars, battery tray, multiple brackets, and hardware as well as a new chain, and headlight bucket.. The original tank emblems have been repainted.. Bike is running a Wassell electronic ignition, Tympanium regulator and new sealed battery.. rear taillight has been upgraded to the 69-70 version as well.. Exhaust is all stock, and shows its age but has great pitina.. The original front levers were used, new cables for throttle, clutch and brake.. New Amal 930 carb for easy starting and reliablility.. New side cover, original oil tank.. I used as many original and UK parts as possible on this build.. Again, this isnt a 100 point concours restoration, its a light resto mod that will make a great rider for someone.. Sold with a bill of sale, or I can obtain a transferable NY registration for the new owner that will take 3-4 months to get... Pics do the talking.. ask questions before bidding please.. Will sell to anywhere in the world, and I can help with shipping.. Payment is due within 7 days by way of cash, certified cashiers check, or bank wire transfer.. On Dec-17-13 at 15:55:01 PST, seller added the following information: I am going to register the bike at the DMV tomorrow and when the transferable registration comes in I will give it to the new owner..If you need it for your state, it will be worth the wait.. I would accept half the payment until the transferable comes in.. then you can send the rest and the bike can leave my shop.. details can be worked out just give me an email... On Dec-18-13 at 05:23:57 PST, seller added the following information: CORRECTION: The transferable registraion takes only 4-6 weeks to get from New York State.. I will be given a "non-transferable" registration at the DMV today and then the "transferable" will come in later.. Again, this is the same as a pink slip from back in the day, the owner (me) signs the back, the new owner (You) signs the back and thats how ownership is transfered.. I have had a few questions about it so I wanted to explain it better... Please email me or give me a call with any and all ??'s... 315-783-3744 Josh HartzOn Dec-18-13 at 08:10:07 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE 12/18/2013: Picture of registration has been added..
