Up for bid is a 1991 S&S Victoria Cadillac with 65k two local owner miles. No body rust, nice paint, and a beautiful southern undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and most of it works - cold a/c, PW, PS, etc. Powered provided by its original 5.0L Chevy throttle body injected (TBI) 5.0L 305 V8 engine (L03) and 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission, which provides a decent balance of power and fuel economy. Heavy duty cooling with 3.08 open rear end (GU4). Delivers 15 mpg in town and 22 highway mpg, which is pretty good for a car this size. I have the history report if youd like it but it verifies what I disclose here - car has a salvage title due to damage to left rear quarterpanel as seen in pics. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. New ignition module, distributor cap, rotor. Good battery & good charging system with newer alternator. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with only a couple very small cracks in the fiberglass left quarterpanel near the tailgate as pictured. Very straight elsewhere. No body rust ever. Above average body despite damage leading to salvage title. Paint: Paint is nice and shiny everywhere small chips/touchup spots as noted in body section. As is typical of funeral cars, it has been repainted (including jambs) black as it was originally silver (second owner had black fleet to match.) Above average, very nice quality repaint. Other: Lower fake plastic chrome trim is all present and in nice shape. Glass is all good with no cracks or chips. Undercarriage is extremely nice with no rust - see the pics of undercarriage and underhood/upper control arm areas. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have no rust as seen in pics. There is a 6 inch tear in vinyl top that has been glued to prevent water getting under top but not visible from the ground - rest of top in great shape. Hubcaps are in great shape with no curb rash or pitting. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape as expected of low miles. The only complaint is some very minor wear on the drivers floormat and a small area of felt near back door which has come unglued, both clearly visible in pics. Dash has no cracks, seating areas are in great shape, cargo deck in great shape with no heavy wear but rollers/bier pin tracks have been removed for its later use as a first call car. Headliner is nice - no sagging or tears. Steering wheel is in perfect shape under the wheel wrap. Carpet is in very nice shape with some very minor wear. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) What doesnt work: drivers door lock, power antenna, blower works only on high through aux switch. What does work: power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, intermittent wipers. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully as youd expect of a low mile Cadillac. Steering is tight, alignment is dead on, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 70% tread remaining on a matched set of Cooper whitewall radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives GREAT - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
