Up for auction is my 1970 Camaro Z28 that has just completed a several year restoration. It has it's original LT-1 engine stamped VO420 CTB that was completely rebuilt. The M-21 Muncie is rebuilt and retains it's original rechromed shifter with original rods and levers including the reverse lockout rod. The rearend is the original COO 12 bolt with the original 4.10 gears and posi. The paint is Classic Copper code 67 Dupont Chromabase Basecoat clearcoat that looks very good and is very straight. The weatherstripping is all NOS GM except one piece, the driver's door roofrail piece. Just about everything is new or rebuilt. If you have any questions you can call me at 419-564-9491, my name is Glen. Engine: Original CTB 010 4 bolt block cast date D110 stamped VO420CTB with 2482N main caps. VIN is stamped on block by the oil filter. Rebuilt +.30 with GM 3942548 pistons, Original 1100837 Alternator dated OD17, 3972110 Intake manifold, 772 fan dated D70. Crank is original forged 2690 with O stamped Pink rods. Heads are the 2.02 186 castings dated B160 and they were rebuilt using the hardened exhaust seats and new Z28 springs and new stainless valves. The 4555, 3972121 factory Holley carb has been restored and is dated 032. The dual snorkel air cleaner is an original GM with a new chrome top. Distributor is a 11120119 dated 9M14. Flywheel is a 3973458N dated C110. Water pump is a 3980802 dated C40. Also, has a new NOS 40726 AC fuel pump. Starter is a 1108418 dated 8L16 and was restored by Pirkle. Has all the original deep grove pulleys, 668 crank, and 824BV water pump. New correct wide Gm Harmonic balancer. Has new reproduction correct 527 and 826 exhaust manifolds . Rockers have the O stamp. Cam is a aftermarket grind of the original solid lifter LT-1 cam. Stock 3732796 Oil pump and windage tray. Transmission: Muncie M-21 close ratio rebuilt 661 case dated D17 70. Not sure if it is original to the car as there is no VIN that I can see. But the casting numbers and date is correct. The Hurst shifter stick is rechromed and has all the original shifter rods and levers. Has original 621 bellhousing. Also, has new GM clutch fork. Rearend: Original COO 4.10 Posi 12 bolt casting date D80 stamped 0424. Original GM gears and Posi. ,brake drums, and rear sway bar. Body: Frame off painted underneath with PPG red oxide epoxy primer. Bumpers were rechromed. New brake , fuel lines and gas tank. All the sheetmetal is GM except the new full quarters , tailpanel, and 1 piece trunk and dropoffs. Super nice California doors. All new tinted glass. Interior: New seat covers, carpet, door panels, console and headliner. Brake Booster: Original restored by Brake Boosters.com dated 0420. Original Master Cylinder is rebuilt. Horns: Rebuilt 289 and 290 Horns by Classiccarhorns. Jack: Original dated D70On Dec-18-13 at 16:26:30 PST, seller added the following information: I had a few questions and wanted to let everyone know that the backup lights do work as they should. They work off the reverse lever on the tranny. The reverse lockout rod attaches to it and the steering column. .It is the original 5618 rod. The picture of the tranny with the switch unplugged is for(I believe) a high gear ignition retard for pollution. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Shows all engine parts with date codes and part numbers during the rebuild. Also, has some pics of the car and parts before it was restored. Also, comes with original owners manual.
