A 1955 chevrolet truck, is what you are looking at. I purchased this truck almost 20 years ago, planned to make it my toy. Many years have passed, never seem to get the time to finish it. So it is time to sell, being almost 70 years old. I have a few other cars I would like to finish. This truck started as a 3/4 ton 3600 model truck. Didn't like the gearing and I did not plan on carrying any heavy items. So out came the 3/4 ton axles in favor of half ton components with more friendly highway gearing. The body is pretty clean for a 58 year old truck.There was a new firewall pad installed. No rust above the windshield like many trucks of this vintage, all cab supports and braces are solid, cab floor is also good. Bed sides were rusty so they were replaced. When bed sides were replaced a piece of waterproof plywood was installed for the floor. Tailgate is OEM and in excellent condition. Front fenders have been repaired by welding in steel patch panels at the back lower part. All fender inner structure supports are solid. Left rear fender will need very minor body work Right door is kind of thin on lower part, so I have another one that goes with the truck. Also the left rear cab corner is thin so I will include one with the truck Motor runs good, clutch is almost new,steering is tight, all spring shackles are good. Heater will work, hoses are off because I had it tested for leaks. Wiring is new stock type, and I added an extra fuse panel with four more circuits for accessories. Wipers are vacuum powered, all gauges, lights, signal, tail, turn, interior, and brake lights function properly. Brakes work Parking brake also works. Tires have a lot of tread, but they are starting to crack on sidewalls. Glass is not cracked, but the wing windows are starting to get bubbles. Speedometer reads 25,500 miles add 100,000 to that number. Have a clear UTAH title in my name. Ask any questions they will be answered, my number is 801-599- 9596 my name is Joe.
