I love my Ducati Diana and Montesa Impala but this Puch has special charms all it own. Needs the following to be 100% originalTail light lensThrottle control This is a very low milage 50cc Four Speed Motorcycle.Its an easy winter project since most everything is there.Starts on first or second kick and idles nicely and sounds great.But since this bike sat for awhile it has acquired the typical vintage 2 stoke syndrome of being low on power when the throttle is opened.This needs attention before this bike can be ridden.Probably just a simple top end refresh and a tune up to make it everything it should be. Paint has some nicks and spots of light rust here and there but is still a nice juicy red.Metalwork has a lovely warm patina.All the Denfeld rubber bits like foot pegs and shifter lever are in good shape. Has beautiful aerodynamic flowing lines. Its civilized but looks the devil fast just sitting there. The Silentium Jet Muffler is as near a perfect condition that you will find anywhere. Rims are true and chrome is in very good condition Seat has a good cover and stitching is nice and tight but could use new foam insert and has two small holes in the back for mounting a luggage rack. The engine is a work of art. It looks both modern and antique at the same time. I think only the Motobi Egg engine can top this. These bikes do not need a key to start. Just kick and go.The key for the steering head lock key is missing but any competent locksmith can quickly cut a new one. High quality Steyr - Daimler - Austrian construction thru and thru. This is a result of Puch using a single jet 17MM Bing carburetor. The remedy is to replace the carb with a 2 or 3 jet carb which will give it smooth power all the way through the RPM's. I kept mine stock for originality purposes , just learned how to drive it. Gorgeous example you have here. Hope your auction does well.
