ARIZONA CAR!!! This is a beautiful automobile. It was Lee Iacocas attempt for an image car for Chrysler. Unfortunately it was not released in 1987 like he wanted. The Italians could not get a production line up and running so it was released 2 years late. The Le baron was on time and released in 1988. Who was going to spend $33.000 on this car when a Le baron looked almost the same for a third of the cost. The TC was only on sale for 3 years. They only sold about 7300 of these total. This is the most desirable model - the 16-valve turbo with the 5-speed transmission. One of only 501 built with the 2200cc engine built by Maserati with a Cosworth DOHC 16V head ,connecting rods, pistons and a fully counterweighted forged steel crankshaft with 200 horsepower reaching the front wheels through the German build Getrag heavy duty manual 5-speed transmission. The car also has hand stitched Italian leather. This is a really nice TC that runs and drives very well. It shows 107930 miles but drives like a new car! Everything on the car works like it should. Air conditioning, power seats, windows, power trunk release, convertible top pull down motor all operate, as they should. The convertible hard top is the original one and looks like new accept fpr some sun fade. The leather seats look great - the exterior still shines nice but has a few parking lot dings on the side and the front hood has some water spotting on it. It has its original removable hard top with the portholes that are crystal clear. This car is a 2-owner car starting its life in 1989 in Oregon and in 1995 moved to Arizona, where was garage kept under a car cover. It comes with a clean Carfax report.
