2001 DODGE RAM 2500 EXTENDED CAB 4X4 CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL 2 OWNER VEHICLE! MANY EXTRAS!!! CONDITION: The condition of this vehicle, for its age, is superb. This vehicle was not abused and appears to not have been used as an "everyday" vehicle. The white paint is very glossy. The clear coat is not peeling. The dark gray (agate) interior is immaculate...NO rips in seats, no cracks in dash, etc. The headlamps are clear and not sun faded. The chrome bumpers are beautiful. The tires are matched Michelins with less than 5k miles on them (I'd guess 3k). A four wheel alignment was conducted at that time. The brake pads and rotors were replaced the summer after I purchased the vehicle (2012). They have approximately 15k on them. I also had the air conditioning serviced in 2013 (new freon, seals, etc.). It blows cold (good thing now, right?). The engine runs great (Cummins diesel...enough said), the oil is changed every 5-6K with Rotella. The transmission shifts smooth and the four wheel drive operates as it should. All this being said, it is a used vehicle. While the body panels are laser straight, there are small miscellaneous chips on the vehicle (mainly at the very bottom of the side and rocker panels from road debris). There are also a few door dings (very few). The undercarriage looks great. There is no underside body rot or rust. This vehicle looks better than most trucks that are 2-3 years old! EXTRAS: There are numerous items that I have added to the truck since my purchase in 2011, including Husky floor mats (front & rear), front seat covers (on since I have owned the truck), a Kenwood removable face stereo with Ipod input and remote control, a Line-X over the rail spray in bed liner, a Leer brand cab height camper shell with oversized tinted windows (carpeted on the inside, LED brake light on outside, $1700.00), a smoked bug shield, smoked vent visors, Dodge door sill protectors (black), Dodge mud flaps, tinted windows, an Edge module (plug in-transmission shifts smoother, better gas mileage, more power...win, win), an AIR Raid Diesel exposed air intake with K&N filter, and a steering wheel cover. The truck had the trailer brake control box and the stainless nerf (step) bars when I purchased it. HISTORY: I purchased this truck in 2011. It was a one owner vehicle from the state of Idaho. It was not abused. The tailgate wasn't even on the truck when I purchased it...it was wrapped in a blanket in the garage! This truck was NOT a salvage or totaled vehicle. I also do not use this truck as a daily driver. It has been babied by both owners. SHIPPING: The shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. I will aid in anyway that I can (making the truck available for pickup whatever time needed, answer any questions from shipping company, etc.). I might also drive the truck to a purchaser (after payment) for $1 a mile round trip (for me). I will do this up to about 300-400 miles total. Just ask. PAYMENT: I will accept payment in the form of cashier's check, personal check, cash and bank transfer. The truck WILL NOT leave my possession until your funds CLEAR my financial institution (usually 10 business days). No, I will not accept an inflated amount for the truck and immediately send you a wire transfer for the difference to Canada or Zimbabwe (LOL).
