1977 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe Short Bed Step Side. The mileage is not correct the odometer and speedometer do not work. However this engine and transmission run and shift excellent. 350 engine with 4bbl carb and a T350 transmission. It has power disc brakes. The wheels are 20's and the tires have a lot of tread left. Just had it smogged and passed with flying colors. And if you are familiar with Ca. smog laws then you can appreciate that. As soon as it passed smog I took the pump off and changed the belt. I still have the original pump. The truck drives, handles and rides really good with nothing out of place. This is by far no show truck but it is a very good candidate to make it in to one. The body work is about done with no rust or bondo anywhere on the truck except for the lower front right fender which has been taken care of. The under carriage of the truck, rocker panels and floor pans are all in excellent condition. The tail gate has a slight bend in it. But is a very easy fix. The interior needs some work. Dash pad, bezel and even door panels should be replaced although the door panels are not that bad. I found a brand new dash pad for $126 w/ free shipping and brand new really nice door panels for $225 w/ free shipping. The glass all the way around is good the bed needs to be redone but again thats an easy fix. The truck is currently registered and could be used as a daily driver. Brand new weather proof Polk Audio door speakers wired up. And all the wiring for a system with amp(s) is already there. This is a solid truck. Very solid. The DMV is paid and registered through April 2014. The truck comes with a clean title. Along with current registration and current smog. The engine doesn't leak or burn oil. The transmission does have a little leak that is for sure coming from the pan gasket. I have not serviced the transmission in the 6 months I have owned it. Again this is an easy fix. It has a 12 bolt rear end. And as I said before this truck runs, drives and shifts very nice. Especially for being 37 years old. There are no signs of it ever being in even a little accident. And I am pretty confident you could drive it just about anywhere you needed to go. The truck runs very cool and the oil pressure is really really good. I am sure there are some things I have forgotten. So feel free to contact me and I will be happy to answer any question. Just did a complete tune up which included wires, plugs, rotor and cap. The carb has been rebuilt and other than it being a little bit cold blooded when first started it runs and sound amazing especially for single exhaust. I have access to another C-10 that I was going to take the a/c out and put it on this truck. Never got around to doing that, but if you want to, that will not be a problem. The other truck also has the side emblems and some other things that the new owner might want. Plus I already have a lot of extra parts for this truck should the new owner want them. I have used but in really good condition an over flow tank for the radiator a used but very good condition reservoir for the washer fluid. I have a lot of new screws and hardware for the interior. Also I have a set of chrome valve covers in pretty good shape. I have a true balanced harmonic balancer also nice wire looms. I also have 2 nice bezels for the gauges that arent the correct years but you can make them fit. Thanks 4 looking and good luck if your biddingA $500 deposit is required within 24 hours. This is a solid truck and an excellent candidate for a complete restoration. Or drive it the way it is as an everyday driver. I forgot to mention that I have wheel spacers/adapters that I purchased brand new along with the lug nuts. They will fit 4.5 and 4.75 wheels. They are currently on the truck.Thanks again
