Vehicle Detail

Fantastic opportunity for someone who wants the best year Fiero made. This 88 GT has had a good deal of tasteful and sensible upgrades done to it over the years, but now needs someone else to take over and love it. I have owned the car since 2000, when I bought it in celebration of graduating auto tech school. The car has 16" aluminum wheels with bridgestone potenza tires, 12" Corvette brake rotor upgrade at all 4 corners (original calipers-West Coast Fiero conversion), DOT approved braided steel brake lines, front lowering springs from The Fiero Store, front end rebuilt with polyurathane bushings from The Fiero Store, and ball joints from Rodney Dickman, headlight motors rebuilt and work perfectly, later model CD player installed (with correct wiring harness adapter-no cut wires here), water pump replaced, radiator is almost new, as are hoses, thermostat, etc., air intake muffler removed and replaced with straight pipe to original air intake grate, and installed K&N filter in original air cleaner box, fairly new KYB shocks and struts, rear camber kits installed, all new strut mounts, dust boots, etc. Seats are cloth from an 87 GT in decent shape; covers on for protection. Custom hood vents installed from a turbo Sunbird. Sunroof does not leak, and includes sun roof shade in bag. The car needs some love however. The biggest problem is the brakes don't work properly. They have been bled, master replaced, calipers checked, replaced, checked again, so on and so forth. Research indicates the problem may lie in the rear caliper adjustment for the parking brake. This is the only thing I have not done. The alternator belt is slipping something terrible, and due to non use, the battery will likely need to be replaced. The air conditioning was incorrectly converted to 134a years ago, and blew the compressor. I have a collection of new and used parts for the car that can be discussed separately with the winner. These include, but are not limited to AC compressor, outside door window dew wipes, steering rack, spare brake parts (calipers, spindles, etc), body parts, interior stuff, etc. I don't even know all what I have. I'm selling because I no longer can afford the time to keep working on the car, and have other projects I consider to be priorities. I have quite a few thousand invested, but as they say, my loss is your gain. I had fun along the way, and now you will. The car is located in Croydon, PA, and I encourage you to take time to see the car. It is not currently registered or insured, so a test drive is not possible.
