Up for bid is a 1995 Chevy Caprice wagon with 93k one Virginia owner miles. Clean history report with multiple odometer readings. No body rust, nice paint, and nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and it all works! Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Heavy duty cooling with 2.56 open rear end (GM8 & V03 build codes). Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system with new alternator. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with only a couple very small dings on hood and tailgate as pictured. Very straight. No body rust ever. Above average body. Paint: Paint is nice and shiny everywhere with some scratches on doors where stickers were placed. All original paint except a few touch up spots and right rear quarterpanel repainted maybe 5 years ago looking at it. Above average. Other: Lower fake plastic chrome trim is faded as most are at this age. Glass is all good with no cracks or chips. Undercarriage is extremely nice with only minor surface rust - see the pics. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have no rust as seen in pics. Hubcaps are in great shape - some curb rash on right rear but all others perfect. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape. The only complaints are some minor wear on the drivers carpet and some tape on the dash (I got half off easily - itll come off with some work). Dash has no cracks, seating areas are in great shape, cargo deck carpet in great shape with no heavy wear but does have a small 3 inch rough spot on rear cargo deck carpet from where the owner had a wheelchair pod/lift (removed.) Headliner is nice - no sagging or tears. Steering wheel is in nice shape but dye worn off the foam as is typical. Carpet is in very nice shape with some very minor wear. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) ALL power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, power antenna, rear window release, rear wiper, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully. Steering is tight, alignment is dead on, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 90% tread remaining on good quality blackwall radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives GREAT - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
