The first owner treated this car like it was his baby. At 83,000 mile it still looked brand new when I bought it. He had receipts for everything & lived semi-rural so all country roads. I was the sole driver for the next 6 years. My wife does not drive standard. This car is still in great shape. The interior is excellent for its age. EVERYTHING works on the car even the AC, nothing is broken, no dash lights. It's a touring model w/ extra bells & whistles like electric sunroof, fog lights, roof rails, etc. I drive gently and get 27 mpg. The PT Cruiser is considered a truck and is very versatile. The rear seats easily fold up, out, & flat. You can fit furniture, bathtubs, jacuzzi, beds, cabinets, power tools, etc. If you lay the seats flat you can actually sleep in it. Now the bad. There is a scratch on the driver's side I used auto touch-up paint to fix (not the greatest fix); there is rust on bottom of rear doors (see picture) ; rear tires are coopers with plenty of thread but are a little cuffed (used tires my mechanic had) eventually they will wear to a smooth state . Last 3 years I redid the brakes, rotors, muffler & shocks last year. Car never in an accident and no major repairs except a tie rod in 2011. Oil routinely changed. I still change my own oil but my mechanic does everything else. Car is very dependable and I never had a problem except for the tie rod. If this care sells locally I reserve the right to cancel the auction early. Questions plz ask
