This car is a nice dry CA car. The car was being stored in a garage in Costa Mesa, CA for 17 years. The Gentleman I purchased the car from was friends with the family who had the car in the garage. He purchased the car from them five years ago. He had the car painted and had new rubber seals installed around the doors and windows. Also he said he had the engine rebuilt, I have no paperwork to show that. Also installed was a new interior and head liner. The tires are new as well and on real Fusche wheels . I now have the car in my garage with a clean CA title in hand. I had the gas tank boiled out and the Webber Carburators Rebuilt. Also bypassed the mechanical fuel pump in favor of an electric one. Like I said earlier the engine runs great and starts every time. The clutch is strong and working great I am still fiddling with the carbutators for the perfect mix. The brakes work great as well as the hand brake. I have not had the car long and I did pay alot of money for it. The only reason I am selling it is to purchase a 1969 911 Targa. The bad parts of the car: Paint needs a good buff or wax. The rubber seals around the doors need to be reinstalled. Missing horn button and the horn. Missing ashtray and rear reflectors and script. It is a car from 1968 so I am sure something else is missing or wrong. The good Just had the valves adjusted @.006" The compression is 135 low to 145 high CA Car Only going up in value.
