Vehicle Detail

The frame, engine, air boxes and other parts are from the original bike. Hubs rims forks are from other Triumphs. The bike is a Café Racer. The shift lever was converted to the English set up.The Union Jack bike is a 750 cc with a 40,over bore, valves and guides have been reworked. I believe the front end came off a Trident, but not positive. Ignition on the 750 is by ARD Magneto. The seat was a one off made by Mike Corbin. Matching frame and engine numbers I built this about fifteen years ago I showed it in various auto and bike shows, It won its class at the Oakland Roadster show and the Cycle World Magazine Bike show at Pomona Calif. The Triumph started out as a Executive, A last gasp at competing with Honda When my builder got it the fiberglass bodywork was a mess and many parts were worn out we started with the frame and lower case, gear box etc.. and worked up from there. the forks and hubs are from trident the tank is from a 70s bonnie.. THE SEAT IS A ONE OFF BY mike Corbin . The carbs were new old stock. the Lucas stuff was ditched and spark is from a ARD racing magneto. The top end is from a bonnie and was rebuilt with new valves guides. After showing the Bike for a few years I started to ride the bike to work when I lived in Calif. The title is Calif. The bike has a few dings scratches from normal ware but the Bike will still draw a crowd. I retired eleven years ago moved to southern Utah, Hell I'm to old to sit a horse let alone ride a Triumph. I have not started the bike in eleven years If I was the one to purchase this bike I would replace the oil in the engine and front forks flush the carbs with cleaner and fire it up. Compression is great Enjoy the ride, Clark
