You are bidding on one 1955 US Military Willys Jeep 4x4. This is a M38A1 model and has been titled and ran on the road in Virginia. The last time it was running and in service was 1996, as the tags indicate. Since that time the vehicle has been parked in a barn out of the weather. The vehicle need some repairs to be roadworthy, these repairs would be minor things that need to be done to the engine. It will need plugs, cap, wires, etc, the usual tune up things as well as some timing adjustment and fluid changes. Other than that, the vehicle is in normal condition for it's age. Some rust and corrosion is obvious if you look at the body and frame as well as the undercarriage. There have been some upgrades to this vehicle as the pics show, including front stabilizer bar, lock out hubs (which allows more highway speed), a huge heater and fan for the rear compartment, and dash instruments. I don't have the time to fix this one up so here is your chance to do something with it. There is no reserve on this auction, but it is for sale locally as well so I will pull it if it sells locally first. This vehicle is a great fixer upper for someone who wants a piece of military history. A $250.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of close of auction.
