I've had this car sitting for a while now. Planned on restoring, but have other projects to finish. This is a Chevelle Malibu. Originally a V-6 car. I was told the engine was 327. Block numbers came back 283, but more than likely, was machined out to 327cid. The motor runs, sounds decent, but has obvious blow by. It's in need of a full rebuild if the owner decides to use the current powerplant. For reasons that escape me, it has a 3 speed manual tranny... 10 bolt rear end spins both tires, haven't had the cover off to see if it's a spool or posi unit.... Car will run and drive around, but is not even close to road, or track ready. Side windows are lexan, front and rear are glass, all need new seals. 95 % of all SS trim seems is there, and presentable with some clean up. Body is super straight, zero body rust thru (only on passenger door sill) floor and trunk panels are solid with surface rust, driver floor pan has been patched. Interior is gone. Chassis wiring gone. 6 point roll cage welded in. Im not the best photographer, but you can tell from the pictures, its need of a full restoration. I have a used 383 stroker with dart iron eagles and a 2 speed powerglide for 1K more if the new owner is interested Clear TN title in my name.
