I bought this great little Dart GT from Arizona about 5 years ago. I has been parked in my heated garage ever since. I had great intentions for this cool little Mopar coupe, but they never materialized. I have kept her running and have driven it around the block on ocatiotion just to keep it going, but never restored it as I had planned. Time to give someone else a chance to restore it to its former glory. The car is very straight and free from any rust other than surface rust. There is no real corrosion that can't just be sanded off the surface of the car. It was not rustproofed from the factory so you can clearly see the floor pans and they are solid. This would be an easy resto for someone with minimal body work required. The paint has nicks chips and scratches. The stainless is very nice and the chrome is very presentable with no real pits, it would polish up nicely. The interior is okay but not great. The car runs and drives and shifts well and even kind of stops, at least enough to get it on a transport home. The slant 6 is still strong and with a tune and some new gaskets would probably go another 100 thousand miles. It does have power steering and manual brakes. The tires are very good. The gages work, except for the speedo, but that went out on me right when I got it so I know that the mileage is correct. This car is not a driver, you can not just get in it and drive it across town, if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere. It is a nice solid original project car, and an easy one as projects go, and the car is complete. I had bought a new black headliner for the car and it is still in the box in the trunk and will be included with the sale.
