We have known about this particular car for the past 12 years and finally got the opportunity to purchase it, but have decided that we do not have the time to restore it right now. It has been stored in a local building since 1981. This is an authentic MATCHING NUMBERS FUEL INJECTED 4 SPEED. This Corvette Starts, Runs, Drives, Stops but will need restoration. Everything is here, the car is maroon in color but the trim tag shows paint 916A, 916 is blue, never seen one with "A", We do not find any signs of blue paint under moldings or in door jams. All chrome bumpers included but have a few scratches and one or two minor dings. Car also came with tan leather seats and factory power windows 898A. The carpet is not correct, been replaced with a shag type but there is a set for a convertible in the car. Door panels will need to be replaced. Now for the important stuff, the engine is the correct fuel injected 327, pad stamp reads 3103077 F1030RF fuel injection is serial number 2600, correct metal air cleaner, all ignition shielding included. Correct Harrison radiator and overflow tank. The transmission is a WARNER 4 speed. All the gauges work and in excellent condition, dash is in very nice shape, factory radio is installed. Factory hubcaps are on excellent white wall tires. This is a perfect candidate for a NCRS restoration that is a investment in corvette history.
