Vehicle Detail
1972 CHEVY C10 SHORT WIDE RESTO MOD Thanks for taking a look at our 1972 Chevy C10 Short Bed Fleetside Pickup. This tasteful restoration and resto-mod upgrade combines the style of yesterday with the conveniences of today. This is the “last of the body style” 72 model with it’s sweet flowing curves and killer good looks. Next came that sea of boxes constricted by smog laws and 5 MPH Bumpers. The most desirable of the 1972 models is the 2 Wheel Drive Short Bed, Fleetside or Wide Bed with the coil spring suspension. In this configuration, the shorty rides like a car at 80 MPH, works like a truck and still fits nicely in the garage or parking spot at work. This C10 was upgraded “frame off” as the pictures show. Nearly every bolt and nut has been touched, turned, restored and/or replaced. Virtually every piece of rubber on the vehicle has been replaced with new. We wanted a great looking, dependable truck you could drive every day and not worry about exotic parts, overheating in hot traffic jams or midnight roadside repairs. By foregoing the lambo doors, airbag suspension, C-notching the frame and the 30” wheels, this truck is as dependable as every other well cared for Chevrolet stuffed with all new parts. By design. Modifications, Upgrades · Shaved (removed) Body Emblems, Moldings, Fender Marker Lights, Tailgate Lettering, · Tailgate handle relocated to inside the tailgate. · Filled post holes · Rolled rear valance · 3” & 5” suspension lowered with correct springs and drop spindles · New control arm bumpers · 6 lug wheel conversion · Fresh 350 CID Chevrolet V8 · 700R4 Automatic Overdrive transmission · Hooker Headers and a new dual exhaust system. Sounds bad ass. · Ice Cold Air Conditioning · Electric cooling fan · Stainless Steel Radiator Overflow tank · New Tilt Steering Column and steering shaft · Wood Steering Wheel matched to Bed Wood · Power Steering · New steering gear box · AMFM Ipod MP3 Radio with split center speaker setup · Dolphin gauge package · Power Windows · Power Disc Brakes with Vacuum reserve tank · New Wheels, tires and locks · New hand finished Oak bed. · New polished stainless steel bed strips · New polished stainless steel mounting hardware. · New rear wheel tubs · New Halogen Blue Dot headlamps · Billet Grill · LED tail lamps and license plate lights · New Carpet · New Seat Upholstery · New belts, fluids, filters, tune and oil. · Fresh Alignment and lubrication · Complete brake rebuild including new hoses and fittings This C10 is currently licensed in California through January 2014. Although this beauty blows clean at the tailpipes, it is smog equipment and certification exempt here in the Golden State thanks to her 1972 birthday. No sensors, gps, abs, tpms or any other pms. The most complicated part of this truck is likely the radio. Insurance is stupidly inexpensive through Hagerty’s. You can easily put a lot more wheel under this truck if you are so inclined. The 6 lug setup will allow you to fit at least 22” wheels and low profile tires. This sweet C10 can be financed or leased on approved credit. Commercial and business leases are our specialty.
