Vehicle Detail

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false You are bidding on a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a One family owned 1963 Factory 340 Horse Corvette Roadster will all the hard work done at a fraction of what one costs and get to finish it your way. This black beauty sports a completely restored rolling chassis with all new $12,000 Tuxedo Black Paint Job, laser straight, no waves, no orange peel, professionally done, mirror finish with a deep shine. Also has all new brakes installed new master cylinder, new lines, new brake hardware and cylinders, etc. Body was completely taken off of the frame and the underneath and frame were all fully restored and painted period correct as you can tell in the pictures it is as nice as any Barrett Jackson car you will see. No rust anywhere underneath which is very rare for these cars. New period correct wire wheels with New Tires, New Rear Bumpers, Stinger Big Block Hood, New Rear Lenses with New Bezels, Complete Intact Original Wiring Harness, Original Rebuilt Driveshaft, Rear was all Rebuilt, Like I said all the hard work is done and everything you see in the pictures with the exception of the interior is new or rebuilt. I was contemplating on whether to go back to the original with the 327/340 Horse and 4-speed or go all custom pro-touring with an Ls1 and T-56 while keeping the stock appearance on the outside. I have over 40k invested already and just don’t have the time to finish this car and whether to have it sit I would rather sell it to someone who will finish it as all the hard and expensive work is done. A little bit more money and one good weekend and this car could easily be on the road. The car was taken apart correctly nothing was cut or butchered, I had all intentions of finishing it to Barrett Jackson standards but like I said just have too many projects and not enough time. The wiring harness was carefully disconnected from the 350 that was in the car along with the 5-speed I sold those as they were not correct for the car but everything is ready to be hooked back up. What the Car needs to be finished and on the road: Drivetrain- your choice engine and trans I was going to do a LS1 with T-56, and the cooling, exhaust, and fuel system for your desired engine choice. The car was an original 340 Horse 327 Solid Lifter Car with 4-Speed. The engine bay was all done right no wires were cut all were disconnected and tied up so all the wiring is ready to go if you want to install a carbureted engine, same goes with the dash all wiring is ready to be plugged into a cluster. As stated before a 350 was installed and removed from the car to go back to original so it is already wired and set up for any small block.Complete Interior and Top installed all the original convertible frame is there as pictured just needs the top installed, has the original dash pads, radio, and clock still in the car so this alone saves a ton of money since you can have them rebuilt and recovered. The driver side glass also needs to be replaced as it is missing but all other glass is in the car and in great shape. There are 2 small imperfections in the paint one is a small chip on the nose where the hood meets where the tape got pulled off that is touched up not that noticeable, and the other is a 6 inch scratch that some jerk did when I had the car sitting outside my shop it could possibly be buffed out but I have not tried. At some point in the 1970’s the front nose was glassed over and the headlights and turn signals were moved down into the grill. I have purchased an original front end to the tune of $1,500 that has all the headlight holes in it and all period correct to change the car back if the new owner did not like the front end, but this is not necessary if you like the front end on the car now. Like I said I was unsure which route I was going to do with the car with the LS1 and T56 The Front End would look real nice with it but to be back to original I have the front end ready to be installed which is included with the sale of the car. The transmission tunnel also has a piece of fiberglass that is broken where the shifter comes in I left it alone until I decided to go with a 4-speed or T56 as it would have to be modified anyway but it is easily repairable as it is fiberglass and you can see it in the pictures.I bought the car from Georgia, which is a no title state, the previous owner’s father purchased the car new in September 1962 and the car was never issued a title he passed away in 1980 and the car sat in a barn until 2010 when I purchased it from his son that had power of attorney and was granted ownership of the Corvette. I have already called the DMV and had the numbers ran on the car in which they said everything is good and in fact the car was never issued a title, the DMV told me what I needed for a Florida title and I filled out all the paperwork for the new owner to get a title if in Florida. It comes with the letters of administration from the Original Georgia Owner showing his ownership and power of Attorney, Bill of Sale Notarized and Signed with an Open Blank for the New Owner, and Vin Verification depending on who buys the car your State may not need all of this but Florida is very strict if not the most strict on car titles. Some states just require a bill of sale but either way the new owner is covered and has everything for a Title. The original data plate and VIN are still in their factory spots with the factory rivets and you are more than welcome to call the DMV here or in your state and verify everything I have told you. Like I said only reason I am selling the car is I just do not have any time to finish it and it is way to nice of a car to just let sit in storage, it has been sitting for 3 months and I only washed it for the first time in the pictures it is not even waxed so you see how nice it is so please excuse any water you see in the pictures it is only from me washing the car. The Corvette is stored inside, covered, and out of any of the elements. Local inspections are welcome with an appointment and are encouraged I have nothing to hide and car is as advertised but please remember this is a project it may need very little odds and ends not mentioned as with any project but you are more than welcome to purchase one done in this shape for over 50k if not more. One could easily put 4-5k into this car with a couple of man hours finish it and sell it for over 40k. Any questions please call Frank at 863-381-3499 and I will be more than happy to go over the car in more details and to arrange an appointment to view the car if need be. As with any 60-year-old car it is sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied. Thanks for viewing and don’t miss this opportunity to own a car people only dream about in the final stages of the restoration.
