Vehicle Detail

0 0 1 576 3284 On Target Magazine 27 7 3853 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Up for auction at a no-reserve starting price is my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, in excellent, above-average condition. It has a clean two-owner carfax (below is a link to the car fax), and has never been involved in an accident. I purchased this Jeep as a one-owner vehicle at 87,000 miles, and have since put another 15,000 trouble-free miles on it. The Jeep has always been well maintained (and it shows) and runs/drives excellent. I’ve never had an issue with it, and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across country tomorrow. It has the optional 4.7 V8, which—if you’ve ever driven a V8 WJ—you know that it has plenty of power in reserve for whatever task you throw at it. It also has the optional leather interior and power-everything, which makes it about as highly optioned as the Laredo model gets. I’ll be sad to see this Jeep go, but I’ve purchased a new Grand Cherokee and can’t justify owning both. This Jeep spent the majority of its prior ownership in Arizona, and because of this is rust-free. The body and paint are 100% original (never any paint-work) and in excellent condition (no fading, large chips, deep scratches, rust or dents) with only a couple of very-small dings and light scuffs that you’d expect a vehicle to accumulate over the years. As you can see from the photos, the interior is in equally good shape, with no tears in the slate-grey leather seats, staining on the carpet, or worn/broken plastic interior pieces. It has molded-to-fit Weather Tech floormats (the best!) for both front and rear passengers. Both A/C and heat work perfectly. Interior amenities include power driver/passenger seat adjustments, power windows/door locks, power mirrors, AM/FM casette/multi-disk CD player (with a factory amplifier), digital overhead multi-function display, cruise control and steering-wheel mounted radio controls. Everything works perfectly. All exterior lights are also in perfect working condition, and the Jeep has a current NH state-inspection sticker. Shortly after I purchased this Jeep I installed a modest, Iron Rock Offroad 3-inch suspension lift, 265/75R16 (approximately 32-inches tall) Toyo Open Country M/T tires (have 90+ percent tread life left) on the factory 16-ich aluminum rims and Spidertrax 1.5-inch wheel spacers (the best) to give it the proper stance. This Jeep has never been offroaded (and it shows) and the lift and tires were more or less installed for looks and conquering my driveway in deep snow—which it does very well. Handling and ride quality are not that much different from stock, and better in some respects. The drivetrain is in excellent shape, and all fluids (coolant, transmission, transfer case front and rear end’s) we’re just flushed/changed when I purchased the Jeep. Mobil 1 synthetic engine oil has been used every 3,000 miles since by myself. The brakes and steering components are all in good working order. The full-size spare in the recessed cargo area has never been used. This is Jeep doesn’t make any weird noises going down the road, and the 4WD works perfectly. The Jeep has an aftermarket class III Uhaul hitch and 4-pin connector for towing needs. The hitch is a little rusty, and not representative of the rest of the vehicle, so I’m guessing the previous owner installed a used hitch? As far as the “bad things” go, that’s about it. This is a very nice Jeep with a few tasteful additions, and I feel the starting price is well below what you’d expect to pay for a WJ in this condition. Please view my feedback and bid with confidence, and please feel free to contact me with any questions (will give my cell number upon request.) I welcome anyone interested in the Jeep to come by and check it out in person before the end of the auction. I do not have the Jeep for sale locally. I have a clear title in hand and will also provide a bill of sale to the future owner. A $500 deposit will be due 48 hours after auction-end, and full payment within 7-days. Buyer is responsible for shipping, but I will assist in any way I can. Here's the link to the vehicle's Carfax: http://www.carfax.com/cfm/FSBO.cfm?report=B0E383ED86A8F4E9EC0C62B07619CE6C
