The La Grange Illinois (Cook County) Police Department is offering the following vehicle for sale: 2003 silver Honda Accord EX Sedan 4-Door 2.4L with Manual Transmission (Stick Shift) with a mileage of 278,698 miles This vehicle is a seized/forfeited vehicle and MUST be sold according to Illinois law; it MUST be sold in an auction-style setting such as eBay. There is no Buy-It-Now option. We will NOT accept any trades for this vehicle. The vehicle is being sold AS IS and with NO existing warranty. All sales are FINAL, NO returns will be accepted, and NO price adjustments will be given. The vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder after the starting price has been satisfied. There is no reserve on this vehicle. The vehicle (again) has a mileage of 278,698 miles, however, appears to run well and sounds good for it's age and mileage. This vehicle is one of the better vehicles we have offered for sale in the past. The vehicle has an AM/FM stereo and 6-disc CD changer (we did not try the changer). There are volume controls for the stereo on the steering wheel (we did not try them). The vehicle has a sunroof with working electric controls on the dashboard. The vehicle is equipped with cruise control (we did not try it). The vehicle has two cigarette lighters/plugs, one to the front and one in the center console. The vehicle has A/C that appears to be in good working order. The vehicle has a power driver's seat in working order. The vehicle has a push-button trunk and gas door opener in working order. The interior lights of the vehicle are in working order. The vehicle has power mirrors in working order. The vehicle has power door locks; button to open the locks works, however, the button to lock the doors does not currently work. The vehicle has power windows in working order. All lights, lamps, signals, horn, and wipers are in good working order. The brakes and tires appear to be in good condition. The vehicle has cloth seats in good condition. The vehicle has aluminum wheels in good condition. The vehicle has a sunglasses storage compartment on the roof as well as several storage compartments around the dashboard/center console. Notable minor damage/scratches/dents/imperfections/things that don't work or need to be replaced: The vehicle was in inside storage since October 2012 and periodically started, however, the vehicle will need a new battery as it needed to be jumped to start it. The vehicle starts and runs immediately and with no issues upon jumping it. The vehicle will need a new clutch soon. We would recommend a tune up on the vehicle since it hasn't been routinely used for the past year (we only drove it 2-3 miles over the past year). The vehicle has a rust spot on the hood. There is minor crash damage to the passenger-side (P/S) lower front corner which does not affect it's operation. There is a small dent in the P/S door. There is a small rust line on the trunk. The rear bumper shows several scratches. There is a small dent in the D/S door. The vehicle shows normal signs of wear-n-tear for it's age and mileage. Again, the vehicle runs well, drives well, and sounds good; one of the better vehicles we have offered for sale!!
