Vehicle Detail
1969 Corvette Up for sale is a 1969 Chevy Corvette Stingray. It has a 427 and is automatic. This car has been in storage for about 20 years. Before it was put into storage it had a new GM frame put under it, stainless steel brakes and the engine rebuilt. This is the original engine for this car. The numbers do match. As shown in the photos, this car needs restored... there is paint peeling, chipped, etc..... the exhaust is rusted through from sitting... also, one thing you cant see in the photos is that the gas tank is rusted through... it needs a new one. This car was driven before it was put into storage.... although it cannot be started now because if the gas tank, it did run very well before it was left to sit. Because this has been in storage for so long, it is being sold AS IS. There is NO warranty, and nothing comes with the car except for what is shown in the photos. We are not supplying the gas tank or anything else. SHIPPING: This is local pickup ONLY. If you want the car shipped, it is up to YOU to make any and all arrangements to do so. PAYMENT. A 500.00 deposit it required through Payal within 24 hours of the end of the sale. Paypal CANNOT be used to pay for the entire car. Car is cash (NO checks, money order, etc) upon pick up and the car must be picked up and paid for within 5 days of the end of the sale. On Oct-21-13 at 07:49:31 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: We have tested this and the engine does turn over. Also, have added some photos of under the car..... there is some surface rust, but the frame looks solid from what I could see.
