For Sale 1962 VW Dune Buggy Street Legal. Great fun. This is a one of kind ride. Very dependable, had been in storage for the past 13 years. It has a 1966 twin carb type 3 engine with only 6000 miles. We have done a lot of work to this buggy to make it a very enjoyable and dependable ride for any driver, young or old. 4 speed transmission. The chassis has 42,000 miles. 6 volt system. We have been driving this everyday to ensure its dependability and haven't had any issues at all. It easily cruises down the road at 65 mph. Here is a long list of most new items we have installed to make it a fun ride. New battery, front turn signals, mirrors, front rims with new B.F. Goodrich TA radials, seat belts, seat covers, master cylinder, rear chrome fan guard, chrome valve covers, misc. stainless bolts, fan belt, front wheel seals, packed wheel bearing, new brakes and wheel cylinders, new king pins and bushings, new rubber brake lines-front and rear, all gas lines replaced, new light switch, roller gas pedal, clutch and gas cables, spark plugs and wires, new shifter and brake boots, new steering coupler and more.
