1957 2nd Series Truck V8 Motor, headers and many new parts: NEW: Tires, carb, electric fuel pump, water pump, valve covers, transmission pan, starter, battery, aluminum radiator, wires, turn stalk, brake lights, brake slave cylinders all 4, pads, to name a few. The motor I was told is a 68 Camaro of indeterminate miles. It does have a mid-grade cam from what I hear, but have not run serial on the motor. I always use 69 Camaro for my parts lookup, and everything has fit. This truck is a great grocery getter, and has been a fun vehicle. I bought from a good friend who needed money in 2011, and I put a few thousand into it making it road worthy. It is a great rat rod - I was thinking of putting on a disc brake kit and such to bring it into a daily driver spec, but with 3 kids have not touched it other than running to Home Depot on weekends and picking up kids in spring and summer. This is one of the cleaner trucks that hasn't been cut up or modified beyond a motor and transmission. Original Arizona truck, purchased in 84 by my friend in Nevada, then me where it has stayed. A desert truck it has minimal rust and is certainly better than 99% of the unrestored vehicles I see on ebay of this vintage.
