Vehicle Detail
69 Vette Rolling Body only with clear title, no motor or transmission. NO RESERVE. Will sell to the highest bidder. Sitting in a barn for the last 12 years. Was a 350, 4-speed car but had a later model big block in it when I got it. No headlight mechanisms, no grille or front bumper, nose has been modified for a 74-up rubber front bumper, rear fenders have been flared and bodywork is rough, the front fenders have flares added behind the wheel like later models and that bodywork is rough. Stock hood has had a hole cut in it and an L88 style scoop added, and is really rough. The fiberglass on the underside of the hood where the hood prop mounts is busted but the prop still holds the hood up. The evaporator and box on the firewall is still there but the rest of the A/C stuff is gone. Have a few other parts like the rear bumpers and taillight lenses, but everything is pretty used. The windshield wiper cowl door is still on the car, but I have not put a battery in it to see if that works, or if the power windows work. The drivers side door handle is stuck in the down position and the door will not latch, so I strapped it shut to prevent damage while I was hauling it home. Some rust in the core support, tried to show it in the picture but the core support will need replaced probably. Has new rear spring, and (I swear) an old set of air shocks. It sits too high in the rear and I am not sure exactly why. Has new brake calipers that are supposed to be stainless sleeved, but I have not had them off to check. Both T-tops are latched, have not tried to remove them. Car was Lemans Blue with Blue trim.Air Conditioning car! Less than 30% of all 69 Vettes came with air.Tilt/telescoping column, power windows, PS, PDB. Still has factory steering wheel in decent shape. New gas tank, not installed in the car. Has a scruffy set of old American Racing Vector wheels with junk tires, I'll knock of $100 if you bring your own rollers and I will clean these up and sell 'em separately after the car is gone. Located in Franklin, Kentucky, 40 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee on I-65. Use the "Ask seller a Question" Link if you like, and I am willing to send my cell phone number if you want to discuss the car, just don't want to post it here to keep the squirrel calls to a minimum. Thanks for looking!
