Vehicle Detail
1959 Chevy El Camino Vin- H59L143642 1470 miles *********************************** The car has been rebuilt top to bottom, every nut and bolt is new, all suspension is new, most undercarriage parts are powder-coated including the frame, a few are painted with Emron. She was purchased from the second owner and spent most of her life on a Central Valley Farm, hauling a little bit of everything. The current owner spent an amazing amount of time and effort finding new old stock parts or rebuilding stock parts to perfection. The body was in very decent condition, only two patch panels were needed, one behind each rear tire on the rear lower fenders. Those came from a donor car along with some of the trim pieces. There was hardly any real rust, as you can see from the underside pictures. NO undercoating was applied to hide anything. All the stainless trim is original, it was sent to Los Angeles for straightening and polishing and is really really nice. The original anodized aluminum trim pieces were cleaned and chromed. All the door, hood and tailgate locks/latches/actuators have been replaced and work perfect. There has been so much done with the car, I'll hit the highlights: Motor Compartment ZZ 383 GM Crate Motor 425hpMuncie 4-speed transmission 9.1:1 Compression 4-Bolt Main GM Fast Burn Heads 1.5:1 Roller Rockers Nitrate Harden Crank GM Mid-Rise Aluminum Intake Holley 750dp carb HEI Distributor Power Master 1-wire Alternator Billet Specialties Tru-Trac Serpentine Belt setup CPP Steering Pump CPP Master Cylinder/Booster Griffen Radiator w/dual fans Vintage Air AC Hoses run through the Passenger fender to hide them to the smoothed firewall. Even the very hard to find tailgate pot metal medallion was cleaned and chromed. The car runs as good as it looks, you can driver her anywhere in style. This car is cleaner and built better than most of those cars at Barrett-Jackson! Please email with any questions or a phone number if you want to talk seriously about her. We have re-listed her due to the last sale falling through. PLEASE HAVE FUNDS AVAILABLE BEFORE BIDDING
