The wife said I have too many toys…. I hate to see this one go but it gets the least amount of use. The lady’s dig it, so she hates when I drive it! I have never had this off-road or four-wheeling since I purchased it. I drove it through our pasture in four wheel drive to make sure that it works ok and that was the closest it has gotten to dirt. This has been an “Urban Jeep” since the conversion. This Jeep will absolutely turn heads and get attention. If you like to remain unnoticed, this probably isn’t the ride for you. Everywhere I go people stop and talk to me about it. This 2008 Wrangler was originally purchased as a four door Wrangler Unlimited. We purchased a brand new factory JK-8 kit from the dealership and had it installed. This Jeep was hand-picked for the conversion. We wanted a low mileage Jeep with a 6-speed manual transmission. This Jeep has ice cold AC. The cruise control works flawlessly. It is a blast to drive this thing. We did a 100% synthetic fluid change on the Jeep with-in the last 1,000 miles. It has a brand new exhaust that adds a tasteful throaty sound. Not really loud but it sounds beefy. The 3.8 liter 6 cylinder engine is very peppy and gives the Jeep plenty of spunk. Overall, this vehicles looks, runs, and drives just like you would expect a garage kept vehicle to. There is no rust anywhere on this Jeep. Line-X sprayed the back, the rocker panels, and the interior of the Jeep. Not only does this give you a worry free protection from rust, it helps sound proof the cab of the Jeep so the ride is more pleasant. This upgrade cost over $1,000. The 2 inch spacer lift is new. The spacer lift keeps the ride quality the same as a factory stock Jeep. The matching 315/70 R17 BFG All Terrain tires mounted on the Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels with simulated bead locks are just like new. A full size matching spare is included. This Jeep will cruise at 75 or 80 MPH and never miss a beat. There are a few minor paint flaws that are pictured. This vehicle was involved in a collision that damaged the passenger side rear door and rear quarter panel. The JK-8 kit replaced all the damaged parts. There was no frame or drive-train damage. The rear axle was replaced with a new unit as a precaution. There were no body panels or parts replaced other than the JK-8 kit. This was a USAA insured vehicle and they paid off the owners when the collision occurred. Those that are familiar with USAA understand that they are probably the most generous insurance company on the market. I have owned a number of Jeeps that were totaled by USAA and have loved each of them. USAA insures all my vehicles and my home. After the conversion was completed, we had the vehicle inspected by a VA State Police Special Agent. He spent over an hour inspecting every detail of the Jeep and signed off on it. It has a certified title and has no restrictions or liens. The title is marked “rebuilt”. We welcome you to come and inspect the Jeep if you would like.
