It was a daily driver for him and weekend toy. He put a lot of time and effort into it finishing the motor build up the previous owner had started. The transmission went out just before snow started flying early in 2012. My brother wanted to swap in a 6 speed manual. Then he found out he was due to be a father. The car has been in my possession since as he needed some quick cash to help pay for his new child. Once I knew my brother no longer had an interest in the car, I started to put the time and effort into getting it moving again. I have a small mechanics garage with a lift and I regularly work on Diesel trucks, so I knew I could complete some of the larger tasks. I removed the transmission and had it rebuilt by a local shop with all high end parts. I also installed brand new rear tires as the others were worn out. I don't have the urge to drive the car, and since I am in the middle of a restoration of one of my diesel trucks, I don't want to put any more time into this car fixing the other issues (detailed above) as the car does run and drive. Other than taking the car for a spin around the block, I have not driven the car since I put in the tranny and replaced the tires. The vehicle is garage kept and I do start it up and pull it out once a month to ensure everything is still in working order. There is a lot of $$$ wrapped up in this car, however I don't have the time or passion for it. I hope someone else will be able to give the car a good home and be able to finish up the other details. My reserve is very close to the KBB price for a stock Camaro. Drop me a line if you have any questions and I will answer to the best of my ability. Car is sold as is. Please realize this is not a stock camaro. It does not run and drive like a stock Camaro. I would not recommend bidding on this car unless you have the knowledge and ability to be able to work on this type of vehicle. On Oct-06-13 at 07:28:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Couple of other questions that have come up: Interior is decent. Seats are in good shape Don't get me wrong, its not fantastic, but better than I would expect for a vehicle with over 100K on the body. No major rips/ tears or burns. The Check Engine Light is on - Codes are: PO102 - MAF Sensor low voltagePO135 - O2 Sensor heater malfunctionPO405 - EGR Flow Sensor - Low current
