Well.... It took a bit of discussing.... but I finally got my 87 years young father to decide to part with his favorite pick up. I have it at my house now if someone wants a look. I have been driving the F150 for a few weeks now with no problems. I feel confident that the truck would drive anywhere anytime with no problems if someone wants to pick it up & drive it home. 1993 FORD F-150 XLT LARIAT SUPERCAB (Xtra-cab) 2WD 302 V8 with Automatic Trans 139" wheelbase standard 7' bed length. PURCHASED BRAND NEW FROM DOUG STANLEY FORD IN DESOTO ...now has ONLY 84K on the odometer & runs great. Registered till Dec 13 Inspection done since pics were taken. The truck does have a few slight UH OHS from his use over the years but these are minor issues that don't affect the way the truck drives at all. The truck drives just fine....Engine sounds solid..trans shifts properly... Service records over the years at Bird Kultgen Ford in Waco. Muffler & tail pipe replaced a while back. Belt & tensioner... Distributor recently. A/C blows cold (only on HI FAN though....a common easily fixed problem with the blower motor) Power windows & mirrors both operate.... cruise control too. Captains chairs have working power lumbar adjusters. Tires are in good condition. The paint does have the usual Ford quality issues for the period. Top has lost some clearcoat...sides look fine. The fuel in the front tank has gone bad due to not being used in quite a while. It will need to be drained & have fresh put in. Truck runs fine on the rear tank. All glass is in good condition too. Windshield washer inoperative. Rather than a long list of info... I'll take a pic of the original window sticker so ya'll can see all the factory options it has.
