Very nice 1971 Westfalia VW Campmobile for sale. In "miraculous shape" according to the man who just tuned it up, repaired the brakes and inspected it in August (his business has been repairing and restoring Volkswagen for the last 35 years). 1971 is a very desirable year, the first with disc brakes up front and with more powerful 1600 Dual Port engine. Engine had factory rebuild at some point in the past. Engine and clutch are "strong". A previous owner had it repainted, otherwise it is pretty much original. Floors are completely sound. Doors and pop top work well. Minor rust at the bottom of the windshield (see pix). A great looker that attracts lots of smiles, and "thumbs up". Great fun for camping, trips to the beach, tailgating or just tooling around. Comes with original manuals, the two Factory cots and rear screen, a vehicle cover and that wonderful air-cooled sound.
