I just moved up to Cincinnati from Mississippi in January and I'd like to present my (all but a small spot of bubbling under a taillight) clean, southern Si. NO quarter or underbody rust whatsoever. The bad: has a few hail dings on hood and roof which have been cleared by a local repair guy for the suction removal style fix. Wheels have some corrosion around the lugs. CEL is thrown for some issue with the evap canister which is part of the vehicles emissions system. The car should still have no problem passing an emissions test as the catalytic converter and stock muffler are still in place. SRS light is thrown for the drivers side and is probably due to a steering wheel installation in the past. The good: This is the original motor, not some mystery swap from who knows what. The motor had seals replaced by previous owner (seals and gaskets replaced, etc.) Car has amazing compression. Transmission has no problems whatsoever (the short shifter does cause a small rattling sound when in neutral which is due to the bottom of the shifter coming in contact with the heat shield directly below the shift boot. This issue can be taken care of by removing this heat shield if you deem it necessary) Car runs like a scolded dog and the vtec kicks like a horse. Paint is in AMAZING shape considering the age of the car and gets compliments everywhere it goes, most recently at Import Alliance in Kentucky earlier this summer (Just look at the pictures!) -Innovative solid motor mounts (street bushings) -Engine bay bolt dress up kit-converted to a manual steering rack (power steering components were removed and the steering system was replaced with a manual rack and pinion)-Cruise components deleted-Short Ram intake -skunk2 lowering springs -skunk2 camber kit-mishimoto radiator-password jdm blue stitched leather shift boot-blox dual bend steel short throw shifter (Exactly the same as the skunk2 shifter) and I will throw in my type R replica chrome knob-Brand new Falken ziex tires- Pioneer head unit with front AUX input for the mp3 player of your choice- Infinity 10" 200 watt self- powered subwoofer (very compact) - OEM window visors - 28% metallized tint (actually blocks some heat) all the way around Willing to deliver personally within reason
