1968 Honda 450 K1 marketed as Hellcat in Canada which was the first big Honda Twin (K0 or Black Bomber) and the biggest at the time until the arrival of the 750. Proper exhaust. Original 5 speed with electric start. Excellent original condition meaning not restored. New tires, cables, battery, seals and a top end rebuild over the past winter by a professional shop. Dark red/burgundy colour which is proper for the year. The seat appears to be original or an accurate reproduction if it is not. Tachometer and speedometer changed to new and more accurate ones at time of rebuild. There are a few nicks and scratches etc accumulated over the years but nothing of any significance.This is a traditional early Honda not a crotch rocket, quick, reliable but not perfect which is reflected in the price. I could spend a few hours and detail it out but it has a used/well maintained appearance which only comes from the passage of time so I have resisted any detailing. Nothing to hide, just a straight honest old bike that will certainly continue to appreciate.One of the last of a small collection. I was going to keep this one, changed my mind and am selling out the last two now. Needs nothing, currently plated and was certified a few months ago. Amazingly this 450 draws a crowd every time I have it out.
