Vehicle Detail

1976 Suzuki RM 250A *First year of the new "RM" series bikes I am listing this Suzuki and several other high-quality restorations, for a collector in CA who is selling on consignment with me. The bikes were all built by vintagemotofactory dot com - a high-end restoration shop specializing in historically significant bikes from the '60s -'80s. This Suzuki and the other bikes are all recently commissioned builds - not older restorations. Bikes for sale include this Suzuki RM, a 1978 Harley Davidson MX250, and a 1974 Bultaco 360 Pursang. Others are available for build. Visit vintagemotofactory dot com to learn more. In this auction, you are bidding on the first year 1976 Suzuki RM 250A - a museum quality bike. This listing may end early with a direct sale, so don't hesitate to call me if you are interested in this motorcycle. Two Honda Elsinores (125 and 250), a Husqvarna 250 MAG, and a 1973 Maico MC440 GP have already been sold from the collection in this manner. Most of my listings end with a phone call and a private transaction so don't wait until the end of auction if you want to buy the bike. Be sure to check out the Harley MX250 and Bultaco 360 Pursang pictured in this listing. Call me if interested. About this motorcycle: Complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration. A couple of small changes were made from showroom original appearance. First, a pair of RM 250 "B" shocks were installed on the bike. Physically, the shocks are identical to the "A" shock with the exception of the added remote resevoir on the "B" model shock. There are some internal valving changes as well which results in a better performing shock. The second change is a black pinstripe which borders the green number plate ovals on the side panels. The bike looks much better with this extra paint detail. The bike was built to a high standard. Special attention was paid to the fit, finish, and appearance of the entire bike, but like all restorations, this is not a perfect motorcycle. Not every imperfection was sanded, painted or completely polished out of the finish of the bike. The small imperfections that remain are a nod toward the racing history and heritage that makes these motorcycles special. The approach to this restoration was to properly under-restore as opposed to over-restore the bike. Of particular note are the correct light-gold zinc plated spoke nipples and the use of new Suzuki parts (NOS) throughout the bike. Note: The bike has a Clear Title. This paperwork allows for a legal export overseas. International Buyers: We welcome international buyers and can store the bike while your shipping is arranged. Shipping: The bike is located in Blythe, CA 92225. Make your shipping arrangements accordingly. Shipping is the buyer's expense, but I know of several good shipping companies. The bike can be delivered anywhere in the lower 48 States for $250-550 dollars. You are welcome to make arrangements with your own shipper and we can meet them when they arrive. A non-refundable $500 PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of auction. For indications of interest, offers on this bike or any of the others, or to ask questions, please call Bill at 805 708-1129. Thank you for looking. Check out my other items!
