It came to me crusty, dirty and greasy. I washed it and installed a new throttle cable and installed new side number plates. The guy I bought it from stored the CZ for 15 years. I have started the CZ twice. Tank has touch-up paint and I left the original cloth tape/electrical tape used for cable routing. This CZ is really close to being all original. This was the first one I had seen in a long time that still had the JIKOV carburetor. The original low pipe is in very good shape and the original handgrips are super rare and super uncomfortable. Makes me smile every time I walk by it. (sniff sniff) NOTE FROM YORCHIE: The CZ (nickname for CZ "back in the day": SIEZE-EASY) has been in office lobby sharing space with a Hodaka Super Wombat for a long time. Its not a museum piece but a really nice survivor that still looks good. It looks like it was rarely ridden in its racing era and the paint on the gas tank looks like it has been painted sometime in its life. The TAXI CAB color scheme is original. Note that Eastern European bikes came with typical poor Communist era "orange peel" paint and chrome always flaked. All of the current CZ owner's motorcycles run - I have no doubt this puppy will too.
