Vehicle Detail

Up for grabs is my personal commuter car. It is a 1998 Lincoln Mark 8. The Mileage is high but I have taken care of this car. I'm a district manger and travel in and out of NY, NJ, and CT. Lincolns are real strong and super durable. I have a 01 town car with 289k and it still runs mint. This is my second Mark VIII and it runs better then most cars with 80k on the clock No accidents and no stories. My feedback speaks for itself. I have driven this car to FL about four months ago and it gave no problems. I Use on Mobil one Extended synthetic oil with premium oil filters. I have spend well over $1200 dollars within the last 15000 miles. It only needs a few more dollars to make it perfect. The good Engine runs very smooth and idles exactly where it should. Does not burn oil. Transmission shifts very crisp, no slippage or anything of the sort. The paint is still glossy and shiny. Less dents and dings then a typical 15 year old car. Please see pics Navigation system with Bluetooth and iPhone compatibility. The Navigation actually tells you about traffic and the best part is there no monthly fee for this. Excellent commuter car. Everything works as it should except what's noted in "the bad" section 18.2 miles to the gallon keeping in mind I always hit major traffic on the 495 and GWB 300hp fun to drive v8 The Nav tells you where traffic is so you can avoid it with no monthly fees K&N air filter The following things have been replaced in the last 15k Motorcraft Spark plugs ($24) Motorcraft Coil packs ($320) Engine coolant flush ($120) Motorcraft Transmission filter and fluid using Mercon V ($150) Rear tires Firestone Snow tires ($200) Battery (die hard platinum $110) Evap canister holder ($50) 134a (ac freon) ($20) Front and Rear MotorCraft Rotors ($125) Motorcraft Front and Rear Pads ($65) MOOG-K8782 Left Front Upper Control Arm and Ball Joint ($60) MOOG-K8781 Right Front Upper Control Arm and Ball Joint ($60) MOOG-RK8783 Front Lower Control Arm And Ball Joint - Passenger Side ($56) MOOG-RK8783 Front Lower Control Arm And Ball Joint - Driver Side ($56) Motorcraft Thermostat ($20) Raybestos 545-1102 Professional Grade Suspension Stabilizer Bar Links Left and Right ($90) The following things have been replaced in the last 50k Front and rear springs (no more air ride which means no sagging) Upper and lower radiator hose Radiator Driver side window motor The bad The passenger-side mirror housing is broken. Please see pic Suspension makes squeaky noises. (I think the front shocks are going) Driver power seat does not work Drivers heated seat doesn't work Washer fluid sensor Drivers side front speaker goes in and out, lose wire It will need front tires immediately. Burn spot in the back seat. I use this car to drive about 130 miles a day to and from ny to nj and everywhere in between. It's a solid car with awesome features but it's time to move on up! I'm not in a bind and I do not have to sell. If you want a car without any flaws then go to the dealership. Call me with any questions or for a test drive. Roy 914 364 0778
