1996 Pro Touring Chevy Impala SS Dark Cherry Metallic***CLEAN TITLE/NO ACCIDENTS***NO RESERVE AUCTION! HIGHEST BIDDER WILL OWN IT. This Impala SS comes with a clear title and free of accidents. Real WX3 truck code on rear deck lid sticker which is still intact. Many clones out there. Know the difference and check the rear deck lid sticker. Don't know where to start really. This is one special Impala SS. A lot of time and money went into making this a fun and exciting Chevy. Ready for the Pro Touring circuit. I am reluctant to sell it but I have too many toys and not enough time to enjoy them. Clean Impalas are getting harder to find. I have owned over 40 Impalas over the years. This one drives far better than the others I have owned. 141K miles on the clock (dim odometer light that can be seen at night) but redone the right way and the new owner will love this car. *****The car does NOT have catalytic converters currently installed so it cannot be registered in California where I live so please keep this in mind when bidding***** EXTERIOR: The car is Dark Cherry Metallic and the paint shines and shows well. Very shiny and well maintained! This is a 17 year old car so it does have front end rock chips and minor blemishes but overall is very nice. Custom Impala script on the rear quarter panels. No dings on the doors or fenders. Minor dents on the very bottom quarter from something rolling around in the trunk. Easy to fix but never fooled with it. The car sits on a BRAND NEW set of 22 inch Irocs with NEW tires. BRAND NEW drilled and slotted rotors and hawke pads done at the same time. Stops on a dime. The car is lowered with hotchkis components and backed up by bilstein shocks which are the best available. The car rides extremely well and handles amazingly. New poly bushings all the way around and no squeaks or body roll. I would call this the 4 door Corvette that Chevy never built. ENGINE: Now onto the best part which is the power. The car has a 383 stroker motor complete with forged internals, edelbrock, msd and fel-pro components. The engine is basically bulletproof. PCM was reflashed for the modifications. No check engine lights on the dash. K&N air intake can be seen in the photos as well as Corvette fuel rail covers. Next the transmission was built and includes a high performance torque converter and matted to a 373 rear end. Super fun to drive. The motor and transmission cost nearly the starting bid for the car. BRAND NEW flowmaster exhaust installed last to complete the build. *****No catalytic converters installed***** The A/C blows ice cold and had a BRAND NEW blower motor installed. INTERIOR: First thing you notice when you get into the car is the pillar guages to monitor the vitals. The leather interior is VERY clean with the normal wear to driver bottom and should be minimal to restore. Carpet is very nice. Dash is free of cracks or sun damage. Gray marble wood kit was installed some time ago and shows some age. Aluminum SS A/C and headlight knobs were installed and look great. Car was garaged since new. The car had a custom stereo installed but was removed and does have a temporary old stock radio but the speakers are there and the wiring is intact. Had HID headlight kit which is a great upgrade.
