Up for bid is a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 27k one owner miles. Lifelong Daytona Florida car - garage kept and shows it. Most miles put on in late 90s before husband died - wife drove it a few times a year after husband died. Super nice all original paint, zero rust and beautiful undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Tow package 2.93 open rear end (GW9 build code). Trailer preparation "tow package" means the factory rated the car to pull 5000 but NEVER had a hitch (despite trailer prep name, these did not come from the factory with hitches.) Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and Ill send you the Carfax report. Runs and drives great - drive anywhere. This car is absolutely one of the finest examples out there. Cosmetic blemishes are few and minor. All the soft parts (weather seal, window surround, leather, etc.) are all still soft and shiny and other plastics (taillights, headlights, side trim, etc) are still shiny like new and not faded. Car still smells new inside. If you look closely at the exhaust manifolds, there is still some grey from casting. There is a difference between a car thats never been dirty and a car thats been detailed - this has just never been dirty. See the pics - no dirt in drip rails, none in cowl, etc. Undercarriage is nearly as nice as the topside - silver bolts, paper parts tags, the pumpkin is still black, and even some cobwebs. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer Delco battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Shifts perfectly as you would expect of a low mile car. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is just exceptional with no dings or dents, zero rust and no collision damage or repair. Way, way, way above average body. Paint: Paint is nearly perfect and all original - not even a touch up spot. Each side mirror has a small scratch, and two small scratches are in the rear bumper as seen in pics. Otherwise, paint is seriously perfect (I dont use that word often.) Wood: Upper wood trim is nearly perfect - the laminate from the factory is all intact lifting just a little around the front corner lamp pieces. The side panel fake wood is beautiful - still shiny (proof of garage kept for a Florida car) with only one minor nicks as seen in pics near right front door lock. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is nice with no notable dings (rare) but theres a small depression behind right rear wheel piece as seen in pics. Front bumper bright trim which is almost always dinged is FLAWLESS on this car. Rubber side trim is all original and all present. Glass is all good with no rock chips or cracks. Undercarriage is just as beautiful as the topside - see the pics. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have NO rust as seen in pics. Important to note that I did not detail anything under the hood or door jambs. Factory spoked hubcaps are in perfect condition. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is just gorgeous - a great testimony to the low miles. Carpets are nice and clean with no wear and has all original floormats. Dash is perfect (always under the mat, though the car was always garaged.) Leather seats are nearly flawless and leather is still SOFT. Small 3 inch rough spot on rear cargo deck carpet from where the owner had a wheelchair pod/lift (removed.) Headliner is perfect - no sags or rips. Steering wheel is in perfect shape - still has the leather grain visible. Electronic controls (cruise stalk, radio, a/c, etc.) button lettering is all perfect from limited use - nice touch. No smoke odors - non-smokers car. The car really does still have some of that "new car" smell left in it. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) All comfort accessories work properly!! This includes power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, power antenna, rear window release, rear wiper, keyless entry, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully - you CAN tell the difference of a low mile heavy car as its just so tight. Steering is tight, alignment is dead on, shocks are original but also tight. Brakes work well with newer linings. Tires have about 98% tread remaining on a matched set of nearly new radials - only the second set (original General AmeriTech tires still had good tread, but 18 years old, so I replaced them.) Under the hubcaps, youll find only one other wheel balancing weight mark on the rims. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks - original stainless steel exhaust is still shiny!! Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - jump in and drive anywhere - drives like new.
