Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko Clone with a 427 Big Block and a 4 Speed Transmission. I bought this car from Canada about 10 years ago (US Build) and probably drove it less than 500 miles. It is a base coupe 427 big block with front disc brakes. This is not a numbers matching car. This is one of the nicest color combinations that I've seen. The car had a body on restoration done from the previous owner. The odometer shows 48,000 miles which I would never swear to but I had to put mileage in the box to list it. I bought the car the way you see it with the exception of the following items that I replaced or updated: Complete new Flow Master exhaust from the headers back New Holley 770 Carburetor New electronic ignition distributor, coil, and Taylor wires New fuel tank New assorted trim parts New steering wheel and factory Hurst shifter ball I also added power steering to this car as it was a bear to turn with the big block. This car is in nice shape but in no means is it perfect, I'm not positive of its past life and I do not have any photos from before the restoration so what you see is what you get. I bought it to have some fun and I just dont have the time anymore...too many toys so time to sell to someone who can enjoy it. I would encourage anyone interested to come and see the car before you bid as everyones interpretation of a 40+ year old car is different. I'm sure if you look you will find thing that need to be done. I am as honest as they come so please ask if you have any questions. Things I know it needs: Shorty after the fuel tank was replaced the gauge stopped working. I have the new sending unit that goes with the car. Brakes feel a bit touchy, probably from sitting There is a small hole in the headliner above the drivers sun visor (see picture) I never registered this car, Connecticut only requires a Bill of Sale for a transfer of ownership on this age car but I do have the paperwork I bought it with. Please only bid if you have the money and are serious. I have about $30,000 invested in this car but I am very realistic with my reserve, the car is worth what the market will bring. I do not want any trades as I need the room, not more toys. Thanks and good luck!On Jul-23-13 at 10:32:16 PDT, seller added the following information: SAVE MONEYON SHIPPING! uShip is the first and largest auction stylemarketplace for shipping and transportationservices.
