Vehicle Detail
You will be bidding on a 1986 Pontiac Fiero SE with a GT fastback body swap. Car was bought as a project car, but since then I have started a new job and simply don't have the time to invest in her anymore. This car comes with the GM L44 2.8L V6 with an automatic transmission. Manual windows and door locks. Body and frame are in solid shape. Comes with worn Motegi rims with locking lugs, key included. Currently straight-piped with no catalytic converter or muffler. Car ran up until a month or so ago when the timing got thrown off. I have a timing gun, I just haven't retimed it. As the listing states, this is definitely a project car. Some of her issues: -Idles high, possibly due to a vacuum leak-Passenger-side mirror needs to be reinstalled-Rear tires do not hold air for more than a day or two-Headlights do not go down-Horn does not work-Rear decklid spring doesn't hold the lid up (needs a board to keep it open)-No radio-No decklid locking cylinder-Tachometer does not work (missing tach filter, will work with a jumper wire between two leads) Some of the work done to her: -New passenger-side decklid vent-New EGR pipe from Rodney Dickman-New spark plugs-Better condition intake and K&N filter-Replaced coolant temp gauge-New radiator fan switch-New 180* thermostat-Complete coolant flush and refill several months ago-Oil change and new oil filter last year-Repaired wiring to ignition coil As I said before the car is definitely a project and is not ready for regular driving. Before the timing got thrown off, I drove the car around the block on the weekends without an issue. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
