I've had this vehicle for almost a year now and have enjoyed every minute of owning it, but unfortunately I must sell it to make room in the garage for another project BMW. The car has always been rock solid reliable, and has taken me far distances without skipping a beat. I've done some of the work and the rest has been done by my good friend and mechanic, who has been working on BMW's for more than 15 years. I don't trust anyone else with my BMW's. This vehicle is Bimmer enthusiast owned and maintained. It's not perfect by any means, but a little work will make it so. This E30 is the rare "slicktop" version, meaning no sunroof. They are few and far between; I've never seen another slicktop in person, and the ones that I have seen online have sold at premiums. Body has about 188k on it (odometer stopped working recently) motor is from a donor 318is, swapped at about 120k, now has about 130k.Body is straight, no accidents. Paint is nice and glossy, great condition overall. It says "incorrect mileage" in the history report from the 1990's which doesn't matter since the engine has been replaced. Oil changed, brake/clutch fluid changed, coolant flushed and changed. I bypassed the heater core when I bought it (don't need it in Florida), otherwise the A/C still works and blows cold, the A/C speed knob has been intermittent lately meaning it needs a new relay/fuse. Radio has been deleted, comes with a delete panel so it looks clean. Engine pulls, all gears work well, starts up every time. Clutch bites well, slips a bit on top gear meaning it needs a new clutch in the future. All switches/buttons/knobs work. Power steering bypassed, I like the steering feel without it, if you want it back reattach the belt and install the rack that's included with the car. The car was just fully serviced, all of the new parts were installed, and the vehicle was driven for about 100 miles before being stored in the garage. The parts/fluids are pretty much new. NEW PARTS: New Graf Water Pump (metal impeller)All New Contitech V-BeltsNew OEM Intake BootNew OEM ThermostatNew Febi/Bilstein Clutch Slave CylinderLow-mileage AlternatorNew Kumho Ecsta Tires, 205/50/15Refurbished Steering Rack The wheels are MSW BBS replicas, pretty rare vintage wheels. Originally silver, then Plasti-Dipped gold. It can be peeled off easily to revert back to silver. ______________________ There are a few flaws with the car. Brakes are worn and should be changed soon. Intake hoses are cracked and should be replaced, the air leaks cause it to stutter on idle when it's cold, when it warms up it's perfect. Center support bearing needs to be replaced, it can get noisy at low speeds. Wiper blades are worn and it's missing foglights. Lastly, 5th gear synchro is wearing out, sometimes there is a slight grind when going into 5th. I have invested lots of time and money into this vehicle, and would like to see it go to the right home. It is a rare car with lots of sentimental value, but it's time for another project. I've described the vehicle to the best of my ability, therefore the car is sold as-is, no warranties expressed or implied. If you have any questions, please send me a message and we can discuss it through messages or over the phone, anytime. Thank you for looking! The first set of pictures are of the vehicle before any cosmetic modifications or restoration. The second set (starting with the garage picture) is of the car in it's current condition. Thank you.
