Up for consideration is a 1972 Chevy C30 STAKE RACK 1 Ton Pickup Truck. It has a 350 with a 4 speed manual transmission. There are dual rear tires. All tires are new. They are somewhat age checked but in good condition. There are wood racks on the bed that are in excellent condition. There is a heavy duty hitch on the back. Just recently, there has been a complete tune up on this truck that included spark plugs, wires, thermostat and rotor cap. The gas tank was removed and cleaned out and a new gas filter installed. Once a battery was installed, the truck started right up and it was driven around. This truck has Air Conditioning. There are some very small areas of rust on the cab and doors. It has been stored for the last 20 years or so in a garage. The only thing that I know of for sure that will need to be replaced is the muffler. This truck is in amazing condition for its age. The interior is super clean. The radio is not installed on the dash, however, it is available. Mileage reads 26,000 something. This vehicle is being sold by the wife of the original buyer/owner of this truck. It was purchased as a work truck for a salvage yard. The salvage yard was sold in 1979/80 and the truck went with the yard. Several years later the new owner of the salvage yard sold the truck back to the original owner and has been in covered storage ever since. The width is 8' and from the center line of the rear axle to the back of the bed it is 67".
