Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1971 IH 1210 Custom Stepside 2WD Pickup Truck. It is a Model 1210, Ser#113205H126636. The left door jamb description reads so: WB 131, Cert Net HP 129.2 @4300 rpm, Cert Gr HP 145 @ 4300 rpm, GVW 7500. Engine is a 345, installed in 1987 from a used Scout. 8 cylinder, Manual transmission, 4 spd, wide range. New Mayan Mist color by current owner. Locking gas cap, one set of keys, 2” Reese hitch Recent new battery and fuel pump. Purchased from SuperScout Specialists in Springfield, OH, in the 80's, used by family for years, even driven long-distance out to California and back from Ohio. Well-built, solid truck. Some issues with rust—see photos or contact me for details. There is rust and/or bubbling along the bottom panel edges and seams and in the bed and along the top of the cab rim, also inside driver's seat back floorboard(see pic). A small rectangular section of left rear panel by the wheel well has been removed. This truck still has a lot of years of service, or if collecting is your thing, it would love to see some TLC and retirement. Our family has collected IH's for years and are now selling what we have. The actual miles on the title is 19,341 miles. The current mileage is 78,255. Since the interior of the cab shows construction yellow sections, it probably has low miles because of local service in Ohio before we purchased it. Only US bidders. A PayPal USD$350 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auction listing close. Balance due from winning bidder to be paid in cash in person, or by certified funds within 14 days of auction listing close.Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. It may be possible to arrange for delivery in continental US; however, please contact buyer. No warranty, guarantee or refund. Clear-title vehicle being sold to winner of auction 'as is'.Winning bidder, please contact me re: deposit & final payment arrangements at close of auction. Please contact me via listed email if you want more information. On Jul-11-13 at 09:00:25 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO ARRANGE FOR DELIVERY IN THE CONTINENTAL US; HOWEVER, PLEASE CONTACT SELLER VIA EMAIL, (not buyer as listed above). added two additional pictures---one is of the line setting ticket for this vehicle(taken while still on back of glovebox) and one of the metal plate on the driver's side door jamb, both describing this vehicle as a '1210'. One of my original pictures is of the fender decal on this vehicle which displays "Custom 1010". NOTE: The two front fenders that are on this truck were rescued from a 1010 Travelall--that is why the fender decal displays "1010". This is a 3/4 ton pickup, with a 4:11 rear end(installed by present owner) and a 2 barrel Holly.
