You are looking at a 1973 Super beetle. In the late 80's this car had a paint job and some custom body work. As you can see in the pics the chrome has been stripped off the car and the door handles were shaved. I purchased this car this way and do not know how the work was done or by who. To open the drivers side door there is a button to push under the drivers side fender. With all that done it gives the car a sleek look. Last fall I had the fuel pump, battery, alternator and some of the electrical system replaced. The starts rite up every time. It is a carburetored car. Sometimes when it starts up it can run a little to rich. I am sure the carburetor could use some minor adjustment. This is by no means a show car however it is a one of a kind. Every time i fill it up with gas everyone wants to know about it and its uniqueness. People love the fact that the door handles are gone and they can be opened by the push of a button. Anyone who owns or have owned a beetle knows the first question people ask is what year the car is. Please Please Pleas look at all the pics as they will do most of the explaining.
