65 Mustang convertible project. Car runs and drives around the yard, but is not road worthy. New master cylinder with working front brakes. Rear brakes do not work. Has a 66 289 and an AT. Engine runs decent, but does smoke. Dosen't knock or rattle. The Front and rear frames are good and solid. Under hood structure and shock towers are solid. Trunk floor is solid. It needs to have the Rear 1/4 panels changed. They are both rusty on the bottoms It also needs one trunk floor drop down piece replaced. The floors are strong, but have had a couple of patches added in the front. This was done maybe 30 years ago. This was a 64 1/2 coupe that someone started to make into a convertible way back then. All the good convertible stuff is there. Including the convertible glass. The blue doors are from the original car and are rusty in the corners. The inner rockers have been added and the floor seat reinforcement is in. It does need to have the underside floor reinforcement pieces added. They are included. Also needs to have the torque boxes added. I have had the project for about 20 years and have lost interest, The car has NOS Ford front fenders These are the real deal and are dated 1985 with the ford paper tag still attached. I have a clear ND Title for the convertible in my hand. Titled in my name. This is a project and needs work, but is a very fixable car with a good solid base to build. Not all rusted out like most. I will help with loading, but the shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. This car is AS IS. No warranty of any kind. All sales final. (Also available is a set of NOS Ford rear 1/4 panels.
