Up for bid is a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 143k one owner miles. Lifelong Jacksonville Florida car - garage kept and shows it. Super nice paint, zero rust and nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and EVERY power option works proper)ly. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Tow package 2.93 open rear end (GW9 build code). Trailer preparation "tow package" means the factory rated the car to pull 5000 but NEVER had a hitch (despite trailer prep name, these did not come from the factory with hitches.) Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Shifts perfectly. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight with no notable dings or dents, zero rust and no collision damage or repair. Way above average body. Paint: Paint is very nice and shiny and all original. A couple minor scratches here and there, but otherwise the paint is beautiful. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed and painted tan so it won't peel like most do. The side panel fake wood is in GREAT shape - still shiny (proof of garage kept for a Florida car) with only a couple minor nicks. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is nice with no notable dings (rare.) Front bumper bright trim has a few small dings. Rubber side trim is all original and all present. Glass is all good with no rock chips or cracks. Undercarriage is just beautiful - see the pics. Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs have NO rust as seen in pics. Aluminum wheels are in good shape with minor discoloration up close consistent with age. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape with minor wear. Carpets are nice and clean with only minor stains, dash has no cracks, door panels are in good shape. Driver's seat has a small patch as seen in pics; other seats are without rips or stains - leather on all the seats is still soft, not hard or brittle. Headliner is in good shape - not sagging at all, but has a 2 inch scratch in the back as seen in pics. Steering wheel is in nice shape. Minor carpet wear on driver's side as is common on these from having to mash the carpet when you set the parking brake. Dash has no cracks and is still shiny, door panels in great shape with no cracks or fading. No smoke odors - non-smoker's car. Nice interior overall; above average. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) All comfort accessories work properly!! This includes power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, power antenna, rear window release, rear wiper, keyless entry, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, shocks are good but rears are near needing replacement. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 95% tread remaining on a matched set of nearly new Hankooks. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - jump in and drive anywhere - nice driving car. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
