If you are a fan of vintage Land Rovers, do yourself a favor and take a good look at this one. These old Rovers are known to rust. The good news on this one is that it mine is has the cleanest original frame and fire wall that I have ever come across (in over 30 years of owning Series Land Rovers). You may see some very minor surface rust on door hinges and door frames, nothing a quick sanding and a coat of POR15 won't cure - nothing structural. Kids are all out of the house so we are downsizing so the wife has said all the toys must go. This Land Rover was in daily use until a couple of years ago when the clutch master cylinder failed and I never got around to fixing it (work....). Excellent Dunlop 7.50 - 16 tires on long wheel base rims - these are perhaps the best tires ever made for Series Land Rovers. Recent exhaust and gas tank and electronic ignition. Interior is in quite good condition and it has bench seats in the rear. Paint looks original and has worn thin in places, hence the different color of the hood which has worn through to the aluminium. A weekends work would see this back on the road as a daily driver. grab yourself a bargain. Shipping is buyers responsibility but i will help load.
