This car has been in Arizona since the 1970s and is very solid. This Mustang is loaded with factory options and subtle aftermarket options that enhance the appearance and drivability of this classic pony. In the last couple of years, the mustang has been repainted and mechanically gone through, including a rebuild of the 260 V8 engine. All of the brakes and suspension bushings were gone through while adding disc brakes. This Mustang needs nothing and is ready to enjoy. It is in very good condition and will surely make its new owner happy. Click to enlarge This Mustang is finished in Ford Springtime Yellow paint and looks stunning with its black vinyl top. This pony spent the majority of its life in dry Arizona and is rust free with all original metal. The mustang still retains its early style hood. The car was painted about a year ago. It has not seen many miles since and has always been garage kept. The car received a good quality paint job. The bumpers, badges, antenna, and other exterior trim were taken off for the paint job. This was not a tape and shoot paint job but also not an ultra high dollar paint job. This car would make an above average driver or weekend show piece but is not a concours show quality paint job. All of the panel gaps line up as they should. When the car was reassembled, new badging and rubber seals were installed. The windshield shows very minor pitting from being driven. The rest of the glass is original and in great shape with no pitting or cracks. All of the chrome and bright work are in very good condition as well. The vinyl top is in as new condition with no imperfections or discoloration. At the time of the paint job, a set of American Racing Torq Thrust Style wheels were added. Overall, the exterior of this Mustang is in very good condition. The beautiful black interior was redone several years ago and presents very well. The seats are very supportive and show virtually no wear and does not have any cracks, tears, splitting, etc. The carpet is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear. The car appears to retain its factory original entrance strips. The door panels and kick panels show little to no wear at all. The optional rear seat armrest does show a little wear in the plastic chrome. The dash is free of cracks or other imperfections but does show some warping from the sun. The interior is completed with factory A/C that has been converted to R134 and blows cool. A modern AM/FM cassette radio with a factory look was added and works as it should. All of the gauges are in working order. The windows and door locks operate as they should. The interior of this car is in very nice condition and is a great place to spend the weekend cruising your favorite roads! Mechanically the car is as good as it looks. The 260 V8 engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and has not seen many miles since. When the motor was rebuilt, it was given a slight cam upgrade. The motor has a great sound but not too roudy. This pony is a factory generator car and also has the big horns. The engine has plenty of power to accelerate this car with ease. The cooling system has been gone through and keeps this pony running cool. The transmission was resealed and shifts smoothly through all of the gears. The suspension was gone through with all the bushing replaced. The power steering system makes driving this car a breeze. The disc brakes feel great and the car stops with ease. This pony could easily be a daily driver, even in the hot Arizona heat. This is a great running and driving car that never skips a beat. This Mustang sails along at modern freeway speeds without breaking a sweat and does it comfortably. Overall, this car is mechanically sound and ready to be driven.
