Please give Joel a call at 815-580-1506 to find out more.Here is a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am that was just traded in at our dealership on a new RV. We do not know a lot about the history of this car but it is in pretty decent shape considering its age. The car has a 6.6 liter V-8 and an automatic transmission. The odometer currently reads close to 77500 miles, we assume that is the correct number. The car has been repainted at least once. The current color is blue as you can see in the pictures. (It was red before but we do not know if that was the original color or not) The air conditioner does not work at this time. The windows do not operate, there are Firebird emblem plugs in the openings where the cranks would normally be. The HVAC does not blow through all of the vents. The engine temp guage does not seem to work. The interior is black vinyl and there are multiple tears and cracks. There are some cracks in the top dashboard panel. The car does seem to run really well and handle pretty good. It does have a fairly rough ride on uneven pavement but it is probably normal given the cars age. If you are looking for a fun project then this is probably a pretty good car for you. If you are looking for a perfectly restored Trans Am then this is not the one for you.
